Description:
We are currently seeking Sales Account Manager for Custom Software
Development Engagements and Senior Sales Account
Manager
Executives with experience in IT services including staffing and
software professional services project outsourcing. If you are a highly
motivated sales professional who is looking to work with a progressive
organization offering unlimited earning potential we would like to hear
from you.
You would be working with the client in investigating their needs,
suggesting solutions, making proposals, following up, closing the deal
etc. Few steps in the client engagement process include:
* Qualifying the Client
* Investigating Client Needs
* Project Costing
* Negotiations
* Finalizing the Contract
* Closing the Deal
Responsibilities:
Cold Calling (both warm and cold leads)
Generate leads (referrals, direct mail, executive briefings, networking, etc.)
Phone and face-to-face meetings to qualify prospects
Generate proposals in conjunction with others, present proposals, close
sales
Account development (follow up and get more business from existing clients)
Preferred Experience:
Demonstrable closing success (client references)
Solid sales experience, preferably in a small, medium and large company environment,
military, military contractors
Experience selling custom software development and software (intangibles as
opposed to hardware or services)
Skilled at new account development, prospecting
Good understanding of the internet, savvy about site development/usability
Experience closing business with small, medium and large and medium sized organizations
Demonstrable cold calling experience
Business to business sales experience particularly experience with selling
custom solutions / professional services
Proven successful sales record in the IT Consulting / Staffing Industry
Extensive IT Consulting Services experience in both staff augmentation and
project sales
Strong contacts with Hiring Managers / Project Managers / Sr. IT Executives,
highly motivated; results-oriented
Capable of developing lead generation strategies and marketing plans for new
accounts
Excellent written & interpersonal communication skills, self disciplined and
have a positive attitude
